2024 12/05 TAIWAN – NETHERLANDS Smart Health & Elderly Care Team: Happy Hour

We had the privilege of celebrating an intellectual and meaningful Dutch Christmas with the Dutch Smart Healthcare and Long-term Care Medical Team. On December 5th, the Dutch celebrate their own Christmas. The passionate Dutch Smart and Long-term Care Medical professional team, including ：

Patrick Nohl-Cnossen (CIO & Programme Manager Innovation), Patricia Luiten-Smits (Chair of Innovation Ambassadors/Coordinating Nurse), Renske de Ruiter (Information Manager Care and Innovation and Coordinating Nurse), Joris Jaspers (Head of Innovation and Associate Professor of Medical Technology at UMC Utrecht), sacrificed their holiday to visit Taiwan, participate in the Medical Technology Exhibition, and host a unique Happy Hour. They shared the latest developments and demands in smart and long-term care medical technology while also providing a taste of Dutch cuisine.

Meanwhile, the Biomedical Engineering Department ‘s Neurotechnology Laboratory at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University shared Taiwan latest research on a lightweight, contactless motion-capture system for medical use. This attracted significant attention from Joris Jaspers, Head of Innovation and Associate Professor of Medical Technology at UMC Utrecht, who expressed a strong interest in future collaboration. Both parties hope to engage in further discussions to develop products applicable to smart healthcare and long-term care systems, benefiting more people and enhancing quality of life.
